CHIROMO FOOTBALL CUP

An annual event honouring the legacy of the brilliant man who blazed infrastructural, policy and administrative trails to enable talent identification & nurturing in football, this tournament is intended to provide pathways for athletes, coaches, businesses and ultimately, the region to shine...To keep breeding warriors.

There are opportunities for local businesses to showcase their products & services on a day designed to celebrate & promote the abundant talent, opportunity & possibility of Zimbabwe.

It began on Mr C's birthday, Saturday 5th August 2023 and will continue annually as part of his birthday celebrations.

What it is...

1 Day U18 football tournament honouring the legacy of Mr C
Open to schools teams in Bulawayo (initially), with ambitions to go national
Education including technical training in football & connection to opportunities
Development opportunities for participating teams
Exhibition match: Elite team vs. Chiromo select squad featuring some familiar names & faces from Mr C’s legacy
